The Pomposa Abbey is located along the Romea State Road, heading towards Venice. It is a magnificent monastery that suddenly appears with its imposing bell tower, surrounded by a lush plain. It is a captivating and beautiful place, home to Benedictine monks who settled here at the beginning of the Middle Ages.

In the Basilica of Santa Maria, you can admire stunning frescoes inspired by Giotto and the precious marble mosaic floor.
